(Who would've guessed, it's the day after Buffy...)
Feeling a bit sick. Going to see Rocky Horror again tomorrow. Although I'm sick I plan to dress slutty and halfnaked. ^_^
Samurai Jack starting today. I've watched a couple episodes from Cartoon Network in interesting colours (we haven't paid for it, but we can see it... blue). But today it officially begins in Finnish television. Yay! Everyone watch!
"You can fly!"
"No. Jump good."
I don't think I'll write anything else. Just feeling sick. Anyways, I have to go to dramaturgy class, then to the city to buy some Rocky props and then, in Buffy's words "I'm going to go home and find something slutty to wear".

Why is it that I always seem to write the day after Buffy? Well, now I won't rant about the series, I'm just saying that Spike is cool. And at least Subtv apparently realized they were showing Angel one episode out of sync with Buffy, so they didn't show an Angel episode last Sunday. Now that should be fixed.
Our web designing course ended today. It was fun, but it's fun that it ended. The result can be seen here, I think. The site isn't completely ready yet. The Terror-thing that's linked from the frontpage is just another project, an interactive story of sorts. I don't like the outcome that much. Well, it was my first web-designing course.
I said last week that at least we don't have snow on the ground... well, last Saturday it came down. It was nice that one day (since I didn't have to go out). I felt all Christmas-y and watched the Nightmare Before Christmas again. I hadn't even realized it's been two years since I last saw it! My favourite scene is still Jack's solo song at the cemetery. Snow isn't that much fun when biking to school, though. It seems like Finland skipped straight from summer to winter this year. Who needs autumn anyway?
But weekend is ahead, and I should really leave school and not sit here writing to my weblog! So, I'm gonna go home and hopefully get much reading and writing done! ^_^ Have a nice weekend!

Wow. The Buffy episode last night was awesome (here in Finland they're showing season four - we're show far behind because after season three they decided to first have a break and then show the whole series from the beginning and THEN start season four, at the same time starting Angel from season 1 to have it in sync with Buffy, though they had already shown Angel season 2!). Anyway, the episode was "Hush". It was like made for me. The child singing the nursery rhyme in the beginning, creatures from fairy tales that were almost too cool (that doesn't happen a lot in Buffy, usually they have silly one-episode bad guys) and of course Spike. I'm such a fan of the Gentlemen. Their appearance was so great, something that would fit well to the ranks of the Nightmare Brigade

I'm going to see Rocky at the Svenska again, yay! My cousin also wanted to see it one more time. We're going to the last show, November 30th, so something special could happen. The night before that the 69 Eyes are performing at Säätämö. I still don't know if I'll go or not, since I really do not know how much more money I can spend on something other than the 'essentials'. Well, Jyrki69 has a cool new haircut, but... do I want to pay 10 euros to see it... still thinking...
Anyways, it's awfully cold here. Not today, though, which is a big suprise. The summer was unusually warm (almost 30 degrees of celsius every day), but now it seems that winter will be unusually cold, since it already snowed at the beginning of September! There's no snow on the ground now, though, but it's cold! Don't like it. Mope mope.
Some kick ass Final Fantasy VII doujinshi is collected at Paperthin Pleasures. Found some great Vincent pictures, and learnt (with my hiragana reading skills and "Japanese written in romanji to English" - web dictionary) that "sore tomo" means "or else". Weee! It's such a great feeling when I understand something written with hiragana! Btw, I had my first Japanese test yesterday. It went fine, I think. Next week we'll have a hiragana test.
Dan liked the Jenny pictures. I still haven't written Damon. I'm working on my school homepage and an interactive story about Terror. Projects, projects. Still haven't had the time or the inspiration to write one word of my Nanovel.

The autumn holiday has ended. Damn. I could've used a two-week holiday instead of just one. ^_^ I got the Gloomcookie-album I wanted, though I now have absolutely no money at all, and my sis bought me Ceres 2, since I had bought her a ticket to the Rocky Horror Picture Show at Åbo Svenska Teatern (that's the Swedish Theater of Turku).
We saw Rocky last Saturday (now I'm not a virgin anymore)! It was so awesome, even though it was in Swedish (the reason I understood the thing was the fact that I've seen the movie so many times), and the guy who played Frank-N-Furter was marvellous. We really got on the right mood (oh, it was me, my sis and my cousin). We were all dressed and made up in appropriate garments, and since we sat in the second row, we got much attention from the players. It was so cool! I'm a real Rocky fanatic as you probably can tell. Frank waved at my sister and when Rocky is born and runs around the audience teasing the viewers with Frank chasing him, he came to sit next to me. In the end we also got up to the stage to dance the Time Warp with the cast! And later on, from our bus stop, we saw straight into Riff-Raff's dressing room, heh. Now I can't think of anything else than Rocky. The songs go around and round in my head... I just want to see the show again. Perhaps I could... I don't know if I have the money, and if my cousin would agree to go see it with me (she's seen it two times already). Perhaps I'll have to be satisfied with just watching the movie.
We also went to see Battle Royale on Friday. It was alright and the "baddie exhange student" was cool, though I don't know how well that fits into the message of the movie... Well, can't help it.
I sent some pictures of Jenny to Dan (let's see what he thinks), and Sade finally wrote Arassa so I can get back to Damon! Woo-hoo!
I think I'll stop now. Someone says the school net is freezing up once again... it sometimes does that. I hope all this text doesn't go away! In about an hour Japanese lessons call again (oops, I haven't read the 2 chapters we were supposed to read, though I've done the exercises, oh well)!

It seems I'm not that good a blogger :P It's been a while, so I just dropped in.
Well, I watched the anime. Cowboy Bebop was neat, but it bothered me that at least the episodes 1-10 didn't have a common, bigger plot. They were just one-off episodes, mostly. Escaflowne was interesting, but not anything mind-shattering. Now I've borrowed Mononoke Hime and Fushigi Yûgi 1-4. I'll watch them next week with my sister. It will be really interesting to see how the animated version of FY looks and if they have made changes to the plot. I also bought the manga Ragnarok 1 and 3 (there was no 2) from Fantasiapelit ("Fantasy Games"). They were quite cool. I liked the way the characters were drawn, especially the boys. ;) But there were too few male characters! One of the ravens, was it Muninn, looked like a guy, but then it turned out it was a girl. :( Well, that was a first. Mostly people think manga guys are girls. ^_^ Anyway, Dread Skurai is my new favourite! So cool.
Next week (I think) Ceres 2 will arrive to Fantasiapelit, and so could Gloomcookie 2, also. I ordered the latter from the Helsinki store, and I hope they get the order right. I've heard stories that their system isn't the most reliable. But I want it!!!
Well, that's all for now. I'm heading home after a day of learning to use Dreamweaver.

Back at school! So, I went to the anime showing on Friday. I searched for the place for about an hour, was ready to go home, then decided to check one more (unlikely) place, and there it was! I arrived half an hour late, which was okay because they hadn't started yet - the VCR wasn't working. Well, they couldn't make it work, so there was no Memories off or Zenki. The only thing they had on DVD was Slayers season 1 (almost the only anime which I've seen), so we watched the first episodes of that. Well, it was good, because Zelgadis is so cool! Rezo also made a bigger impact on bigger screen.
On Monday I borrowed Cowboy Bebop 1-10 and Vision of Escaflowne 1-9. I've only had time to watch the first and second episodes of Bebop, but I still have lots of time! I've also drawn a nice picture of Janie and the Nightmare Brigade in the form of a comic book page. When I stop being lazy (yes, like that would happen), I'll scan it and put it on my website. My Gallery is in desperate need of an update, but Iiiii'm laaaazy....

Feels weird. I'm at school though I don't need to be. I just came here for one hour to eat and use the net, 'cause the food is relatively cheap (and I'm lazy and don't want to cook myself) and the school is quite near my place. I wrote and sent Skera to cafe. All the others are still waiting their turn. I'll write them this weekend and send them on Monday. Like I thought, I didn't draw anything yesterday. -__- Blah. But at least tonight I'm gonna see some anime! ^_^

Ok, so I started a weblog. Actually this is my second try... perhaps I'll understand this better this time...
I'm still at school after an enlightening How to Use Photoshop-day, 'cause I don't have the net at home. I started this weblog, and was thinking about completely starting my homepage over. I was updating it, but it gave me a nasty feeling that I didn't even like the thing that much. So... dunno. Anyways, tomorrow I'm going to join the Anime Society of Turku (Turku being the city that I just moved in and where I'm gonna study for the next four or so years). They (the anime society, that is) are showing Memories Off 1-3 and Zenki 1-3 tomorrow. I don't know what either of them is. But later they're going to show Metropolis and Perfect Blue, so I'm in!! ^_^ It only costs 5 euros to join, and then I can borrow anime videos and go to the video nights they organise I think two times a month, so... Yay!
I'm feverishly hunting for Gloomcookie album 2, but haven't gotten it yet. I think I could get it ordered from Helsinki. Now I'm just waiting and drooling (I can do two things at the same time!) for the comics that should've already been sent to us (me and my boyfriend, Juri) and should arrive soon. Then I'll have something to read. Still... want that Gloomcookie (my sister has bought it, so I have already read it, but I still want it)! Btw, I found Dave McKean's Cages from the library! I never would've thought that. I have to admit that Turku's and Pori's (the town where I used to live) libraries are on totally different levels what it comes to interesting books. But Pori's library is better organised.
Quite a short entry. I don't think I have anything else to say right now. I should go home and write cafe posts (Himitsu, Christophe, Fu and Skera all need to be written)... Perhaps I could also draw a few pictures of Damon, my lovable jester - like I haven't drawn him enough already. But when I get home I'm probably just going to sleep. ^_^ Miracles do happen, though. I think.
